Rosetta Saddler
Junior Vice Commander - Navy

YN1 (SW/AW) Rosetta Saddler was born in Fairfax, VA. She graduated from Centreville High School in 1994 and attended Montana State University prior to joining the U.S. Navy in 1995 as a Yeoman.

Rosetta served her 20-year U.S. Navy career in Norfolk, VA, Virginia Beach, VA, and in Millington, TN. She was first assigned to AFDM-10 Resolute in Norfolk, VA, which was a Submarine Dry Dock. She then transferred to Amphibious Construction Battalion TWO, in Virginia Beach, VA in which she worked with the Seabees and was meritoriously advanced to YN3. Upon advancement to YN3, she was transferred to the USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75). Rosetta then transferred to Commander, Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN where she was advanced to YN2. Rosetta transferred back to Virginia Beach, VA to Strike Fighter Squadron 32 (VFA-32), where she deployed with the USS HARRY S. TRUMAN(CVN-75) to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, she also advanced to YN1. Rosetta then transferred to Commander, Fleet Forces Command, in Norfolk, VA. Finally,Rosetta transferred to her last duty station which was the USS COLE (DDG-67), where she deployed to the Mediterranean in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Rosetta has earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Excelsior University, an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Excelsior University, and an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Northern Virginia Community College.

Rosetta resides in Bristow, VA with her husband Steve and son J. Her daughter Nina, resides in Virginia Beach, VA.
